Titan Comics have announced a special summer event which will bring the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors and their comics companions together is a special 5 part series.

Published weekly, the story written by Paul Cornell and illustrated by Neil Edwards, will be published weekly, running through August and September 2015, in place of the ongoing series. It features all three Doctors from Titan's regular ongoings.

The first issue is released Wednesday August 12, supported by the global Doctor Who Comics Day on Saturday August 15.

Writer Paul Cornell has penned classic episodes from the Doctor Who TV series ('Father's Day', 'Human Nature/Family of Blood', both Hugo-nominated), classic Doctor Who novels, as well as successful comic book runs on titles such as Wolverine, Action Comics, Demon Knights, and Captain Britain and MI:13.

The ​e​vent follows straight on from the issue #15 conclusions of Year One, with the second years of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors beginning after the event's finale.

The covers will be revealed, exclusively on Doctor Who News, tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 2pm UK Time.

Wednesday May 13​ ​sees the release of Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor #10 - written by Robbie Morrison (Drowntown, Nikolai Dante) and art by Eleonora Carlini.

Saturday is Free Comic Book Day, a global event which celebrates the amazing world of comic books.

The event takes place annually on the first Saturday in May, when participating comic book speciality shops around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops.

This year Titan, publishers of the Doctor Who Comic Books, are offering a special edition of Doctor Who comic for Free.

This special edition includes three all-new short stories featuring the Tenth Doctor, the Eleventh Doctor and the Twelfth Doctor, written and drawn by the ongoing Doctor Who comics creative teams. There is also a sneak peek of the Top Secret Summer 2015 event. Be the first to get a hint of the epic that will shake the Doctor to his very core.

Candy Jar Books have released the cover and details for their next book in the Lethbridge-Stewart saga:


Author David A McIntee (who also wrote the Brigadier-centric BBC Book The Face Of The Enemy) said:

Cover art is by Cosgrove Hall's background artist, Nathan Hudson, and the book also features an exclusive foreword written by Amanda Haisman, daughter of Lethbridge-Stewart creator Mervyn Haisman, in which she publically talks about her father and the legend he created for Doctor Who.

Candy Jar Books have announced a change in schedules for their novels based upon the character of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.

Owing to Lance Parkin being unavailable for the project at present, his novel Horror of Det-Sen will no longer be published in June, with David A McIntee's The Schizoid Earth now moving into that slot. Shaun Russell, head of publishing, said:
McIntee's novel will be followed by a new replacement a few months later entitled Beast of Fang Rock which, as the name implies, is a prequel/sequel to the Season 15 opener Horror of Fang Rock; it will be co-written by Andy Frankham-Allen and the original script's writer Terrance Dicks. This will then be followed by the previously announced Mutually Assured Domination by Nick Walters.

Looking to 2016, novels have been commissioned from John Peel (author of a number of Virgin/BBC Books and story novelisations), Jonathan Cooper (former Doctor Who correspondent with the Mirror), Lizbeth M Myles (author of several short stories), and Adrian Rigelsford (The Hinchcliffe Years and The Harper Classics).

Wed​nesday ​April​ 15​ ​sees the release of ​Doctor Who: Tenth Doctor #9, written by Robbie Morrison and illustrated by Daniel Indro.

BBC Worldwide has announced a new collaboration with content distribution service BitTorrent to mark a decade of new Doctor Who.

To celebrate ten years since the series reboot, the file sharing network will be offering a ten story box set featuring specially selected highlights from the modern era of Doctor Who for $12 globally.

The package will include exclusive video content from incumbent Doctor Peter Capaldi who gives his insight into some of his favourite Doctor Who episodes as well as Doctor Who: Earth Conquest – the documentary about the 2014 global tour which saw Capaldi and companion Jenna Coleman travel the world to meet their fans.
