All proceeds from this publication will be donated in support of the Positive Living Society of British Columbia which is dedicated to empowering persons living with HIV/AIDS through mutual support and collective action.

Tiny Rebel Games have announced details of the upcoming launch of version 3.0 of Doctor Who Legacy, due in mid August

3.0 brings players the Sonic Adventures story arc, led by the First Doctor and which includes characters Donna Noble, Mickey Smith, River Song, and the introduction of the Third Doctor's companion, Jo Grant and which will find players collecting many of the sonic devices and gadgets from over the years of Doctor Who.

Another major feature of 3.0 is the addition of Doctor Who: Legacy Kids, a special dedicated area for the youngest Doctor Who fans, inspired by the popular Anna's Playground levels which were created for the child of one of the games fans.

As with Season 8 in 2014, the team is currently working closely with the BBC Doctor Who brand team and BBC Worldwide to prepare for the new series with plans to release allies, costumes, enemies and levels based around the upcoming tv season the same weekend as the new episode airs.

Doctor Who: Legacy, played by nearly 2 million Doctor Who fans, is now over 80 hours of playable content and includes all 13 Doctors, over 140 playable allies and companions, enemies from both modern and classic Doctor Who, and extended universe content from Big Finish, Titan Comics, and George Mann’s Engines of War novel as well as the Bigger on the Inside 8-bit style retro adventure.

Twilight Comics have announced an Exclusive #DoctorWho #1 Four Doctors Wrap-Around Variant, prepared for the Titan Comics special event, coming in August.

The cover is painted by David Carr of artmonkeyworld.com, and is limited to 1000 copies only. It is only available through Twilight Comics.

The actor Edward Burnham has died at the age of 98.

Edward Burnham had two major roles in Doctor Who. In 1968 he played Professor Watkins, the uncle of Isobel, in 4 episodes of the second Doctor story The Invasion. He returned to the series at the end of 1974 in Tom Baker's début story Robot, playing Professor Kettlewell, the creator of the Experimental Prototype Robot K1.

Edward Burnham was an actor for over 60 years, appearing on Television as early as 1938 in productions of The Marvellous History of St. Bernard and The Swiss Family Robinson. In 1959 he appeared in the science fiction series Quatermass and the Pit. Other roles followed in productions such as The Citadel, Z Cars, The Plane Makers, To Sir, with Love, The Pallisers, The Search for the Nile, Churchill's People, All Creatures Great and Small, Nightingales and Nicholas Nickleby.

In the early 1960's he played Dr. Dorking and Dr. Danvers White in Emergency-Ward 10 and in 1985 he played Mr. Grimwig in Terrance Dicks's production of Oliver Twist. He also appeared in the feature films 10 Rillington Place, Young Winston and The Hiding Place.

Edward Burnham died peacefully at home last Tuesday, 30th June.

Today, Wednesday, sees the release of Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor #9 by Robbie Morrison (Drowntown, Nikolai Dante) and Brian Williamson (Torchwood)!

Director Rachel Talalay, who helmed last year's finale Dark Water/Death in Heaven, has confirmed on Twitter that she is returning to the series to direct this year's as yet un-named two-part Doctor Who finale:

The Police Box, currently situated at the Kent Police Museum in Chatham, is to be moved following the closure of the museum at the Dockyard.

The box, which is one of the few remaining original boxes in the country, was on loan to the museum from the The Civil Defence and Emergency Service Preservation Trust. It was installed in Kent in 2008. However the Museum has not been open this year and although there are plans to open a new museum in Maidstone in 2016, the Police Box will not be part of it.

The Police Box will be removed from its current location in August this year and returned to its owners in Scotland.

Until then it can be seen by visitors to The Historic Dockyard in Chatham.

Big Finish has announced production of a new range of boxsets, featuring heroes and monsters from the recent era of Doctor Who, including River Song, the Judoon, the Sycorax and the Weeping Angels.

Big Finish Productions have been producing audio dramas based on the original Doctor Who series since 1999. However their access to characters from the post 2005 series has been restricted until now. In February it was announced that they had gained the rights to use characters from UNIT, and the latest deal expands their range further.

The new wave of adventures, due next year, will feature Alex Kingston as River Song, who first appeared in 2008's Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead. River will be stepping into the era of the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) for Doctor Who: Doom Coalition 2, alongside Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker) and Helen Sinclair (Hattie Morahan).

Producer David Richardson says
River will then return later in 2016 in Doctor Who: The Diary of River Song, an epic four-hour adventure that takes River across space and time, seeking out the secret rulers of the universe. Paul McGann will reprise the role of the Eighth Doctor in the final instalment.

The New Series adventures will continue in Doctor Who: The Churchill Years, in which Ian McNeice returns as the fromer British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. In the four-hour saga, Churchill relates a number of encounters with the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Doctors in his memoirs, battling alien incursions, metamorphosing creatures... and a Dalek! The stories are told by Ian McNeice, supported by a full cast of guest actors, including Danny Horn as Kazran Sardick, in a story taking place within the 2010 special A Christmas Carol.

Finally, the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Doctors will face a new generation of monsters in Doctor Who: Classic Doctors, New Monsters, a brand new, four-story run featuring creatures from the New Series. Peter Davison takes on the Weeping Angels, Colin Baker encounters the Judoon, Sylvester McCoy will meet the Sycorax... and Paul McGann will face a new clone batch of Sontarans on the edge of the Time War.

All four boxsets will be released across 2016, and are available to pre-order.

This month's audio books from BBC Audio feature the adaptation of Target novel The Massacre by John Lucarotti, and a boxed set release of the three original audio series to feature Tom Baker's return as the Doctor.



Novelisation adaptions for the rest of the year are currently scheduled as: Doctor Who and The Ark in Space (16th July), The Two Doctors (3rd September), The Curse of Fenric (5th November), and K9 and Company (3rd December).
