Final figures for Episode Ten, Vincent and the Doctor, published by BARB show the story was watched by 6.76 million viewers.

On BBC One the programme got 6.29 million watching where it was the second most watched programme for the channel for the week, just being beaten by Tuesday's EastEnders. An additional 0.47 million watched on BBC HD and when added together the programme totalled 6.76 million viewers.

Final figures for ITV1 HD are not available, so a full top thirty programmes of the week can't be calculated. Doctor Who stands at 18th for the week without HD figures added. If HD figures are included, it will almost certainly rise one place to be the 17th most watched programme of the week.

The BBC Three Sunday repeat did not rank high enough to get into the top 30 for the week.

The Appreciation Index figure for The Lodger was 87, joint highest of the series so far.

The Appreciation Index or AI is a measure of how much the audience enjoyed the programme. Any score over 85 is considered excellent.

The Sunday repeat on BBC Three was watched by 0.45 million viewers, winning its timeslot amongst the multi-channel stations.

With Sunday's overnight figures now available, Doctor Who is currently 41st for the week. This should rise considerably when the final figure is released next week.

Doctor Who Confidential recieved an AI of 81 on Saturday and the Sunday repeat was watched by 0.21 million viewers.

Doctor Who got an audience of 4.6 million viewers for episode eleven, The Lodger, according to unofficial overnight figures.

The series held up well against its strongest opposition of the series so far, as it faced the build up to England's first match in the Fifa World Cup.

On BBC One it has an average of 4.31 million watching with an additional 0.25 million watching on BBC HD. The share was down to 22.3% with most viewers choosing ITV1's football coverage which, against Doctor Who, peaked at 11 million in the fifteen minutes before the game.

The England v USA match had an average audience of 13.2 million and easily is the most watched programme of the week. It peaked at 19.4 million at 9pm, with over 1.7 million watching on ITV1 HD. The other match of the day, Argentina v Nigeria, had 4.7 million watching. The post match show, James Corden's World Cup Live, got 5.9 million watching, pushing Doctor Who down to fourth for the day and 35th for the week, so far.

Doctor Who is likely to get a substantial boost when the final figures, including details of those who recorded the programme for later viewing, are released next week.

On BBC Three, and directly up against the football match, Doctor Who Confidential had 0.25 million watching, a 1.0% share. An additional 0.14 million watched on BBC HD.

The Press details for the final episode of the current series have released by the BBC Press Office.

The Big Bang, written by Steven Moffat, will be transmitted on Saturday 26th June. The time will depend on the results of the first round of the World Cup, as the BBC will show one of the two matches scheduled on this day.

The schedule for episode twelve, The Pandorica Opens, has now been confirmed by the BBC with Doctor Who moving to 6.40pm, on Saturday 19th June.

On BBC One, Doctor Who will again be sandwiched between Total Wipeout and The National Lottery: In It to Win It.

Football once more provides the opposition on ITV1, this week Cameroon play Denmark live from Pretoria. The actual match starts at 7.30 so will not clash with Doctor Who.

BBC Two offers Athletics: European Team Championships followed by Mary, Queen of Shops with retail guru Mary Portas. Channel 4 has Channel 4 News followed by the 2002 film My Big Fat Greek Wedding while five has the 1975 film Rooster Cogburn with John Wayne and Katharine Hepburn.

On BBC One the programme got 7.04 million watching where it was the fourth most watched programme for the channel for the week, beating Tuesday's EastEnders. An additional 0.45 million watched on BBC HD and when added together the programme totalled 7.49 million viewers and was the 9th most watched programme of the week.

The BBC Three Sunday repeat did not rank high enough to get into the top 30 for the week.

Vincent and the Doctor got an AI or Audience Appreciation Index score of 86.

This puts the programme once more in the excellent category and was the highest score of the day on the two main channels.

With the whole week's overnight figures now available, Doctor Who is in 30th place for the week on overnights, a position which will rise when final figures are released next Monday.

The BBC Three repeat got an audience of 0.52 million, a 2.4% share.

Saturday's Doctor Who Confidential scored an AI figure of 84.

Doctor Who got an audience of 5.0 million viewers for episode ten, Vincent and the Doctor, according to unofficial overnight figures.

4.7 million watched on BBC One, where it was the highest rated show of the day. An additional 0.3 million watched on BBC HD, giving a total audience of 5.0 million and a share of 29.4% of the total audience. It was the 2nd highest rated show of the day.

The winner of the day was the final of Britain's Got Talent on ITV1, which had an audience of 12.3 million, becoming the most watched programme of the week.

Doctor Who is currently 26th for the week, a position which will rise when the final figures are released next week.

On BBC Three, Doctor Who Confidential had an audience of 241,000, a 1.2% share.

Former Doctor Who companion Katy Manning will be doing the Crusaid Walk For Life this Sunday, 6th June, in London.

Manning played Jo Grant, assistant to the third Doctor, Jon Pertwee, from 1971-1973, and will return to the character when she stars alongside new Doctor Matt Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures later this year.

She volunteered to do the walk with the deputy editor of GT magazine, Darren Scott, when she heard he had agreed to do the walk in a novelty Dalek costume. Referring to her infamous naked Dalek photoshoot from the 70s, she joked that the pair should recreate the pose, albeit fully clothed.

Crusaid’s Walk for Life is Europe’s largest fundraising walk for HIV and AIDS. The pair can be sponsored via the event website.

The BBC Press Office has released details for the penultimate episode of the current series, The Pandorica Opens.

The coverage starts at 6.15pm and runs right to 9.15pm right across Doctor Who's time slot although the actual match doesn't start until 7.30pm, just as Doctor Who finishes.
