New Zealand Airdate for A Christmas Carol

Prime TV have now released details on the broadcast of A Christmas Carol in New Zealand; the special, which stars Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins alongside the Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith, will be shown on Sunday 30th January at 8:30pm.(with thanks to the New Zealand Doctor Who Fan Club for reporting the news)
1.7 million viewers watched the BBC One Bank Holiday repeat of this year's Christmas Special, A Christmas Carol, according to unofficial overnight figures.
The BBC One repeat of the Tenth Doctor's swansong, The End of Time Part Two, had an audience of 1.2 million viewers according to unofficial overnight figures.
Sources are reporting that A Christmas Carol achieved a final rating of 12.11 million viewers with a 41.8% share of the total TV Audience.
The BBC One repeat of the 2009 Christmas special, The End of Time Part One, had an audience of 1.4 million viewers according to unofficial overnight figures.
The BBC One repeat of the 2009 Easter special, Planet of the Dead, had an audience of 1.3 million viewers according to unofficial overnight figures.
The repeat of the 2008 Christmas special, The Next Doctor, had an audience of 1.3 million viewers according to unofficial overnight figures.
The BBC One lunchtime repeat series continued on Wednesday when of the 2007 Christmas special, Voyage of the Damned, had an audience of 1.4 million viewers according to unofficial overnight figures.
The Tuesday BBC One lunchtime repeat of the 2006 Christmas special, The Runaway Bride, had an audience of 1.5 million viewers according to unofficial overnight figures.
