Whotopia was published as a hard copy publication from October 2003 to mid-2009 and after much debate amongst its editorial board. The decision was taken to make Whotopia a free downloadable publication with its seventeenth issue in July 2009. The fanzine is currently edited by Jez Strickley with help from assistant editors Nancy Gross and Samantha Warner. The magazine is published on an average of 3 to 4 times per year.

The sixth edition of The Finished Product is now available.

This issue looks at the relationship between Big Finish and Doctor Who Magazine, speaking to many of the people who have been involved over the years, including Gary Russell, Alan Barnes, Conrad Westmaas and Tom Spilsbury.

There is a feature on the DWM exclusives which haven't been covered by The Inside Story book, starting with The Veiled Leopard, including the thoughts of Sophie Aldred, and Cuddlesome, including a plot breakdown of the Audio Visuals original which many readers won't have heard, and then The Mists of Time and Freakshow.

The Companion Chronicles specials continue with The Three Companions, before the issue is rounded off with interviews on how Spare Parts was developed into The Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel, with exclusive interviews with Marc Platt, Gary Russell and Tom Macrae.

Doctor Who: Finished ProductIssue Five of The Finished Product, the unofficial companion to the Big Finish audio series, is available from this week.

This issue kicks off with a look at the genesis of the Companion Chronicles, and first season stories Frostfire, Fear of the Daleks, The Blue Tooth and The Beautiful People, plus the full episode one of 'lost' story Psychomorph.

It then moves on to series three, season two will feature soon, and looks at Here There Be Monsters, The Doll of Death and Home Truths.

Interviewees include Nicholas Briggs, Mark J. SFX Magazine: TorchwoodIssue four of the Finished Product, the unofficial companion to the Big Finish audio series, is due for imminent release.

This issue concentrates on the UNIT series, looking at it from inception through to final execution, as well as revealing some ideas for the never-made second series. And lots of the interviewees talk about their memories of David Tennant in one of his final roles before playing the Tenth Doctor.

Interviewees include producer Ian Farrington, writers Simon Guerrier, Iain McLaughlin, Jonathan Clements and Joseph Lidster, directors Edward Salt and John Ainsworth, actors Ian Brooker and Robert Curbishley, as well as sound designer and composer David Darlington.

In addition, there's also an interview with DWM award-winning Big Finish composer Russell Stone.

Plus some stunning illustrations.

Fish Fingers and Custard takes a light-hearted look at the show and its fandom. Published by Grant Bull, issue 1 includes an interview with David J Howe conducted by Grant Bull and an in-depth interview with Paul Cornell conducted by Gareth Kavanagh.

Doctor Who Adventures 165Eight years after the last issue, the third edition of The Finished Product fanzine, looking behind the scenes of the Big Finish audio adventures, is now available.

The Fanzine concentrates on the first series of Eighth Doctor/Lucie adventures, with new interviews with actors, writers and members of the production team, as well as plenty of behind the scenes details.

It's 44 pages, with over 25,000 words, in the classic A5 black and white fanzine form.
