DWA Moves To Four-Weekly Publication

Doctor Who Adventures magazine is moving to a four-weekly publication as of this month. The move comes after poor circulation figures for the magazine were published earlier this year. From January to June 2014 their average net circulation was just 19,966 per issue - down by 8,477 and 29.8 per cent on the previous six months.The publisher, Immediate Media Co, told Doctor Who News today:
We regularly look at the most appropriate frequency for our magazine titles and, following research, we have decided to move Doctor Who Adventures to a four-weekly frequency, in line with the rest of the market. We’ll be focusing on an improved gift offering while continuing to deliver our young Doctor Who fans the Doctor Who content they love.
Doctor Who Adventures launched in April 2006 as a biweekly magazine, moved to a weekly in January 2008, and reverted back to a biweekly in June 2013.
