Titan Comics have announced a series of variant covers for three of their ongoing Doctor Who comics. The variants are drawn by Japanese artist Question No. 6. She has previously worked on Doctor Who comics at a fan level, being involved with a webcomic adaptation of AM Audio Media’s award winning Doctor Who Dark Journey audio play.

The comics featuring Question no. 6’s art will be available early next year. The Tenth Doctor Adventures Year Two #2.6 and The Twelfth Doctor Adventures Year Two #2.2 will be available January 13th, 2016 with The Eleventh Doctor Adventures Year Two #2.6 hitting shelves on February 3rd, 2016.

Wednesday sees the publication of The Tenth Doctor Vol. 3: The Fountains of Forever, written by Nick Abadzis with art from Elena Casagrande, Eleonora Carlini, Rachael Stott and Leonardo Romero.

Titan Comics and BBC Worldwide have announced the ongoing Ninth Doctor comic series will continue.

 Titan Comics’ launched the Ninth Doctor in a 5-part mini-series in 2015. Due to the popularity of the Ninth Doctor, as played by Christopher Eccleston, the series will now join the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors as a monthly ongoing title.

 The Ninth Doctor comic writer, Cavan Scott (Who-ology) will continue to work on the series and says

The first in the brand new Ninth Doctor ongoing story arc will hit shelves in April 2016, with interior art on the opening three-parter by Adriana Melo (Miss Marvel, Spiderman).

Wednesday 9 December sees the latest comic adventures released for the Eighth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors.

Also released this week is the first issue of The Troop written by actor and director Noel Clarke

In a previous article Doctor Who News reported that The Underwater Menace would be getting a January 19, 2016 release date in North America. At the time BBC Home Entertainment and Warner Home Video, the North American distrubutor for Doctor Who, hadn't confirmed a release date. Tvshowsondvd.com is now reporting that Amazon.com has updated The Underwater Menace page to show a March 1, 2016 release. No official confirmation has been received from the BBC or Warner Home Video so all release dates will be considered tentative.

Wednesday 2 December sees the latest comic adventures released for the Ninth, Tenth and Twelfth Doctors

BBC Worldwide have announced that tickets will be made available from the 3rd December enabling visitors to the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff to be able to also purchase a special TARDIS Studio Set Tour ticket in order to visit the existing TARDIS set, as seen in the current series of Doctor Who. Tours will run between the 9th December and New Year's Day.

Tickets may be booked from the Doctor Who Experience website.

North American Doctor Who fans may be able to purchase The Underwater Menace in the new year.

 Tvshowsondvd.com has reported that it will be on sale January 19, 2016. The BBC has not yet confirmed the date. No cover art or special features for the R1 version have been announced yet.

The R2 version of The Underwater Menace was released October 26 2015. It featured previously missing episode two whose recovery was announced in December 2011, the extant episode three as well as reconstructions of episode one and four.

Titan Comics and BBC Worldwide have announced a brand-new mini series starring the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, as played by Tom Baker and the late Elisabeth Sladen.

This series expands Titan Comics’ popular and critically acclaimed Doctor Who comics line, which already includes adventures from the Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors.

Entitled ‘Gaze Of The Medusa’, the five-part series will hit stores in March 2016 and will be penned by Gordon Rennie (Missionary Man, Judge Dredd) and Emma Beeby (Witch Hunter, Judge Dredd) with art by Brian Williamson (The Twelfth Doctor, Spider-Man, X-Men).

The all-new adventure is set in Victorian England, where a mysterious woman commands a hidden army in a house of the blind. Scryclops stalk the streets...and something alien and terrible screams from prehistory – with a hunger that cannot be satisfied!

Issue #1 will come with six covers to collect: a painted cover by fan-favorite artist Alice X. Zhang; a photo variant; art covers by artists Brian Williamson, Jay Gunn and Matt Baxter; and a blank sketch variant.

Doctor Who: The Fourth Doctor #1 debuts in comic stores and on digital devices from March 2016.
