Next Saturday sees the premiere of The Wedding of River Song - the final episode in the current series of Doctor Who - broadcast on BBC1/BBC1HD at 7:05pm, 1st October in the United Kingdom; it then follows on SPACE in Canada at 8:00pm ET, on BBC America in the United States at 9:00pm ET, and on ABC1 in Australia at 7:30pm on the 8th October.

The BBC have released three video clips to introduce the next edition of Doctor Who Confidential, Open All Hours, which is due to be broadcast on Saturday 24th September on BBC3/BBCHD at 8:00pm, straight after Closing Time.

Confidential is on set with Matt Smith and his returning co-star James Corden. The two make their very own Doctor Who episode with a difference and talk about the highs and lows of shooting at night - in a department store, with babies!

Spend the night with Greg James and listen to his insightful, in-depth character profile of his new role.

This week, experience 'A Day in the Life' of a Doctor Who location manager, and in Script to Screen, the competition winners get to hang out with Matt Smith on set for the filming of Death is the Only Answer.

Answer Questions with Matt Smith

The BBC are offering readers the chance answer questions alongside Matt Smith via their official Facebook page.

The new application in partnership with VYou will see the actor answer five questions over the next ten weeks, and is designed to enable fans to interact directly with the page in three different ways.

The principal function is the ability to record a personal video response to the question, which can then be shared with other fans who watch the video stream, appearing after Matt's original answer.

The initial question on the site is:
If you could travel anywhere in time where would you go?

In future, fans themselves will be able to submit questions, and further interaction is providing in the form of a voting system in order to determine the favourite question - the ones with the most votes will then be answered by Matt himself.

Tonight sees the final episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day premiering in the United States, with The Blood Line being broadcast at 10:00pm ET on Starz; it will be repeated on the channel several times in the following week.

The BBC have released three videos clips to introduce the next edition of Doctor Who Confidential, What Dreams May Come, which is due to be broadcast on Saturday 10th September on BBC3/BBCHD at 8:00pm, straight after The Girl Who Waited. Confidential is out and about with Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) and Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams).

Can Karen get up to 100mph around one of the UK's fastest racetracks and can Arthur rise to the challenge of swimming in a tank of sharks?

The team are also on set at Wales Millennium Centre to fend off some brutal new enemies and viewers get to experience a 'Day in the Life' of the camera department.

Also featured is another Script to Screen, as our storyboard artist brings the story to life.

Amy is trapped in a quarantine facility for victims of an alien plague – a plague that will kill the Doctor in a day – as the time-travelling drama continues.
