Doctor Who Showrunner Chris Chibnall, will be appearing at the BBC's first ever family Festival, being held this coming weekend.

CBBC Summer Social is a brand new festival for kids, taking place across three days in August (3rd -5th) at Croxteth Country Park in Liverpool.

Ahead of the new series of Doctor Who, Chris Chibnall will appear at the festival on Sunday for a special Q&A on the main stage hosted by television presenter, Chris Johnson.

CBBC Summer Social is the BBC’s biggest ever kids event, and the only festival to give 6-12year old’s and their families a unique lineup of CBBC favourites, alongside a host of international music acts including Union J, HRVY, Johnny Orlando, Matt Terry, Mackenzie Ziegler and Finnish pop star, Isac Elliot.

CBBC Summer Social is being organised in partnership with Liverpool City Council and forms part of Liverpool 2018 – a year of projects marking a decade since Liverpool was European Capital of Culture.
