Peter Davison made a guest appearance as himself on the Simon Nye-scripted sitcom "Hardware" which aired last Sunday on ITV. Various jokes were made throughout the episode that referenced Doctor Who. Once again, perhaps indicating that the show is very much back in the public consciousness; the program also finished on a discussion as to what tool would they take into space on board the TARDIS, and a rivet gun and an folding workbench were amongst the suggestions.
