There's a brief mention of the new show in the Daily Mirror's column today by Sue Carroll, mentioning an earlier letter published in the Telegraph from DWAS coordinator Ian Wheeler defending Russell Davies against suggestions that the writer would create a Doctor who was "dressed in pink, mincing about, saying: 'Shut that TARDIS door'". Carroll notes that "he can be Graham Norton as far as I'm concerned, provided the show looks as if it's been filmed in a sandpit up the M25, the walls are wobbly and the Daleks still can't get up a flight of stairs."
